The heart of your EquiShield security network
The EquiShield Yard Station (YS-01) is designed to provide a central security and communications point for equestrian yards, trailer storage areas and compounds where valuable equipment may be left unattended.
Positioned at a suitable central location within the protected area, the Yard Station houses the Ajax security hub and associated detection and visual verification technology, creating the intelligent core of the EquiShield system.
Unlike a conventional standalone alarm, the Yard Station is designed around a modular approach to equestrian security. Individual EquiShield protection products can communicate with the central system, allowing security to be expanded as the requirements of the yard change.

Working with EquiShield Trailer Defenders
One of the key components of the system is the EquiShield Trailer Defender (TD series).
Trailer Defenders can be positioned alongside individual horse trailers to provide a combination of physical deterrence and electronic detection around the vulnerable hitch area. Multiple Trailer Defenders can then communicate wirelessly with a single Yard Station.
This means a storage yard containing several trailers does not necessarily require a completely independent alarm system for every trailer. Instead, each Trailer Defender becomes another protected point within the wider EquiShield security network.
If suspicious activity is detected at a protected trailer, the event can be transmitted back through the system, allowing the Ajax platform to provide alarm signalling and, where configured, PhOD photographic verification to help determine what has caused the activation.
Designed to grow with your yard
A major advantage of the EquiShield concept is scalability. A s a customer you could initially protect one or two trailers and subsequently add further Trailer Defenders or other compatible EquiShield protection devices as your requirements develop.
This creates the foundation for protection extending beyond trailers to other vulnerable areas around your equestrian property, including stables, tack rooms, gates, storage buildings and equipment areas.
Rather than treating each security problem individually, the EquiShield Yard Station provides the foundation for a connected, expandable security system designed specifically around the needs of the equestrian environment.
